Benedetta Armando - Бенедетта Армандо
Benedetta Armando is a PhD candidate in Cultural Studies at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where she is conducting a research project on the return of the Orthodox element in the post-Soviet urban space. She holds a Master’s degree in European, American, and Postcolonial Languages from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and has undertaken study and research periods at several Russian universities, including Moscow State Linguistics University and Saint Petersburg State University. Her areas of interest include Russian history and culture, the role of religion in the public sphere, and identity-building processes in contemporary Eurasia. She has collaborated with the Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow and has taken part in international conferences in Italy, Russia, and Serbia.
