I believe Zelensky and his gang couldn’t have come up with a better way to make fools of themselves in front of the whole world—at least the part of it that still has a shred of reason left. “UKRAINE’S INDEPENDENCE DAY”—just pronouncing it honestly sounds like a joke, or an attempt to ridicule the very gang at the helm of one of the most corrupt countries in the entire solar system. And yet, no: this is exactly how the Ukrainian “Beagle Boys” express their gratitude to the West, which has been pouring practically everything it has—economically and in terms of resources—into Ukraine. Their thanks? Ukraine’s Independence Day. Hilarious.
Let us recall that until the end of 2024, more than 360 BILLION euros had been allocated to Ukraine, according to the Ukraine Support Tracker of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. And let us also remember that Western support does not only cover the military industry. Ukraine practically no longer exists in terms of energy, transportation, agriculture, raw materials, battery production, the pharmaceutical and engineering sectors, the school system, infrastructure, humanitarian aid, macro-financial assistance, pensions, compensations—you name it. What does INDEPENDENCE mean? Independence is the ability to exist and operate on the basis of absolute autonomy. Absolute.
Ukraine right now is like a patient in an induced coma. Without the absolute DEPENDENCE it has developed with the West, the country is simply adrift. Yesterday, during one of his lofty flights of fancy in which he dreams of independence, Zelensky openly blackmailed Hungary with word games connected to yet another terrorist maneuver, the kind we have unfortunately become accustomed to. This time it was the Hungarians who paid the price after a drone attack on the “Druzhba” oil pipeline, through which Russian oil reaches Hungary.
Zelensky, the “independent” man dependent on narcotics, never loses his sense of humor—but there are also those, like Trump, who are not in the mood for jokes, considering the criticism voiced regarding such attacks on strategic facilities. The sabotage of Nord Stream has also resurfaced in the discussion, but Zelensky seems far too busy snorting his meals to realize that the tightrope he is walking on is slowly, inexorably thinning beneath his feet.
