4th Eurasian Economic Forum opens in Minsk

On June 26, the opening ceremony of the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) took place at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. The main theme of the event was “The Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects.” The forum is being held concurrently with a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, attended by the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus and Chairman of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council Alexander Turcin, as well as Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

“Year after year, the Forum is becoming a significant international platform for open dialogue between the business community and government authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union member states,” Sagintayev noted.

The business program of EEF-2025 includes a plenary session with the participation of EAEU leaders and heads of international delegations, as well as over thirty thematic sessions. More than 2,700 representatives of government bodies, businesses, international organizations, and media are participating in the event.

In addition to EAEU member states, the forum has brought together delegates from 26 countries, including China, India, Iran, the UAE, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Italy, Cuba, and others. The event is being covered by over 500 journalists from EAEU countries.

The broad representation of participants highlights the growing importance of Eurasian integration in the global economy. The forum remains a key platform for shaping strategic decisions and strengthening international cooperation.
