The Rostov-based holding company “EuroMedia” has introduced a new media project – the “Russian-Chinese Almanac” – timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. The publication will be presented at key business venues, including the St. Petersburg and Eastern Economic Forums, with the participation of heads of state and leaders of major corporations. The project will be published quarterly in both print and digital formats, including a web version and social media platforms.

The new “Russian-Chinese Almanac” media project is set to become an important element in the system of informational support for the strategic partnership between the two countries, offering high-quality analytical content and expanding opportunities for business and cultural cooperation.

In today’s global media landscape transformation, such international projects take on special significance. The “Russian-Chinese Almanac” serves key functions by providing expert assessments of bilateral relations, creating a platform for dialogue between the business communities of both countries, and fostering greater mutual understanding at the societal level. Experts note that in an era of geopolitical turbulence, such projects become an effective soft power tool, helping to shape an objective picture of international cooperation.

In an interview with “EuroMedia,” Russia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, Igor Morgulov, emphasized: “Today, Russian-Chinese relations in terms of depth and mutual trust not only match but in some aspects surpass the alliance of the 1950s. They are developing confidently and dynamically, serving as an example of constructive interaction between major powers in the modern era.”

According to Maxim Fedorov, Editor-in-Chief of the “Eurasian Union Economic Review,” the almanac aims to provide in-depth coverage of key aspects of bilateral cooperation, making it relevant to the international community. The project will also help representatives of business, science, and culture from both countries identify effective points of interaction.

It is worth noting that the economic dimension of Russian-Chinese relations continues to show steady growth: bilateral trade reached $240.1 billion in 2023, a 25% increase over the previous year. In 2024, this figure amounted to $244.8 billion.
