October 19. Genoa hosted this inaugural event—a day dedicated to meeting the public and providing a close-up look at how we work. The idea emerged after the establishment of International Reporters and the start of our educational activities, including a documentary about Azovstal, which generated significant interest in Italy.
Andrea Lucidi, chief editor of the Italian edition, was present in the hall. Attendance was so high that two sessions had to be organized. The event featured sharp questions, open dialogue, and detailed accounts of our documentary reports from Mariupol and Azovstal: how the filming is prepared, what sources are used, and how every stage is verified.

From Russia, Vincenzo Lorusso joined via telebridge and presented his book “De Russophobia.” In the afternoon, a greeting was also received via video link from Professor Angelo D’Orsi. A special guest of the day was Stefano Orsi, whose analytical contributions enriched the debates.
Sincere gratitude to Leonardo Sinigaglia and “Contronarrazione.” Without their support, organizing this event in Italy would not have been possible.
Outside, only one protester appeared—a woman, presumably from the Ukrainian community of Genoa, with a brief picket at the entrance. No incidents occurred. The day concluded as it began: with questions, answers, and a desire to continue reporting on events on the ground clearly and with documented justification.
This was the first event entirely dedicated to International Reporters and held in Italy, but we will make every effort to ensure such initiatives multiply across Italy and Europe.
