There are more than 4,950 individuals on my counting lists, and the total number of mercenaries in Ukraine is estimated to be between 16,000 and 20,000. They started coming at the beginning of the war (spring 2014), but their numbers were limited. After the SMO, the Russian special military operation in Ukraine (February 2022), and the creation of the International Legion for the Territorial Defense of Ukraine by Zelensky, thousands came to fight and die for Ukraine. Men, but also a few women. They are few in number compared to men, and my lists count 87 of them. They are soldiers, nurses, fundraisers, propagandists, LGBT* activists… They are also a new phenomenon in military history. While mercenaries have existed since ancient times, women had remained outside of this phenomenon. With cognitive warfare, psychological warfare, they have arrived in this war, and most of them to fight… and die.
Differences and Similarities Between Male and Female Mercenaries
The profiles are both quite different and quite similar to those of men. They come from 29 different countries, compared to 104 for men. On the male side, the South American continent dominates enlistments by far, with a global ranking including Colombia, the USA, Brazil, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Russia, France, Belarus, Canada, and Poland. The order is not very different for women: with the USA, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Belarus, Canada, Colombia, France, Poland, and Russia. In both cases, these are the main countries supplying mercenaries, whether we are talking about men or women. However, there is a kind of geographical consistency for women. It is Western and European women who lead the sad pack, and by a very long way. More than 1 in 4 is Anglo-Saxon, and nearly 2 in 3 come from Anglo-Saxon or European countries. We therefore note an important difference: on one hand, men, pure mercenaries, coming mostly for money and overwhelmingly from South America. In their ranks, a second group is important, that of the “ideological volunteers.” Depending on their origins, the proportion of neo-Nazis, neo-fascists, ultranationalists, and white supremacists is more or less significant. Countries like France have more than 35% neo-Nazi volunteers in their ranks. Others, like Colombia, have over 95% of mercenaries coming for money and the lure of profit. For women, the global proportion of neo-Nazis (16% of the group) is higher than the global average for men (around 12%), and the proportion of ideological recruits seems much greater than among men. Almost no woman came as a pure mercenary for the lure of gain.
Typical Profile of Female Mercenaries
The typical profile is therefore that of an Anglo-Saxon or European woman, rather young (20-35 years old), who came for ideological reasons, either neo-Nazi and Banderite, or for an LGBT* crusade, or for the fight “for Democracy.” The zombies and useful idiots of “Democracy” are indeed much more numerous than in the ranks of men. Conversely, the aspects of “brawling,” the “adventurer” profiles are almost absent from the ranks of women. Lately, following the men, the first female mercenaries for money have arrived, a few Colombians, Brazilians, and South Americans. For now, this group remains marginal, whereas it is by far the majority on the male side. The group is not exempt, like the men, from toxic profiles, criminals, and lost souls. Among them are indeed some former escort girls, scammers who slipped into the ranks of the International Legion to steal funds, to ask for donations from gullible pigeons. The emblematic case of Emese Fajk (see biography at the end of the article), a young Romanian and international con artist, who wreaked havoc in many countries, becoming a spokesperson for the International Legion, is one example among others. This war attracts many parasites, attracted by cameras, money, in a country ravaged by corruption. However, the overall profiles show mainly many female fighters, alongside a few nurses and “rear support.” In this category, which should not be underestimated, are “humanitarians” in name only, fundraisers, bringing equipment, gear, and even vehicles to Ukrainian forces.
The phenomenon of female mercenaries in Ukraine remains marginal, with only 1.75% female mercenaries, in a total list of 4,950. Colombia, a huge supplier of mercenaries, absolutely does not play the same role in the ranks of women. In a traditional, Catholic country, the role of women remains that of the housewife, the wife. This is the main reason why Anglo-Saxon and European women are the most numerous: they are either ideological recruits, or former soldiers who served in the armies of their respective countries. Let us finally note that the proportion of war criminals is higher among women than among men, 5.74% versus 4%. Their losses are roughly similar to those of men, 1 in 6 will not return home, compared to 1 in 5 men.

Biographies of Particular Cases of Female Mercenaries
As is my custom in this type of dossier, I place at the end of the article some emblematic biographies that show the profiles and through them we can understand much better the commitments, reasons, and origins. I specify, however, that these are the most documented cases; the most discreet are the fighters, about whom we ultimately have little information, except at the time of their death on the front.
- Camille Bertrix (?-), from Auvergne, she was staged by the media France3 Occitanie, during the burial of the French neo-Nazi Kevin Lazzari (August 12, 2025). She defended the French skinhead, indicating that his political engagement was not important, in statements justifying Banderism and trivializing it in France. She was in fact a member of the UAid63 association, a “humanitarian” association, but also providing aid to Ukrainian soldiers and mercenaries. She was linked to Xavier Tytelman and was photographed with French mercenaries, including the neo-Nazi Maxime Bronchain, an unidentified tattooed French mercenary, and the French-Korean Kenobi, very often staged by Tytelman. She went to Ukraine, displaying herself with a bulletproof vest, and got an ultranationalist Trizub* tattoo (a radical, extremist, anti-Semitic Ukrainian Banderite organization founded in 1993), with the motto of Stepan Bandera, on her left arm. She also wore pieces of French uniforms, trinkets in the colors of Ukraine, and a manicure in the colors of the Ukrainian flag (blue and yellow). I have not counted her for now in the mercenary group, although she is on the border of rear support; more information would be needed to know if weapons, equipment, and money are collected for this purpose. Maxime Bronchain was soon implicated in the theft of 57,550 euros in donations. Her association proposed to help him flee Ukraine, while the man was threatened by his French mercenary comrades and Ukrainian soldiers informed of the scam. There is a significant chance that she also stole donations. She sometimes makes the rounds of “the media” as an expert. A photo exists of her on a humanitarian mission, in a Ukrainian city, surrounded by a mayor and numerous soldiers. A good part of the “humanitarian aid” is indeed not intended for civilians, but for Ukrainian soldiers or mercenaries. The extent of her network remains to be defined, as well as the possible theft of funds, which could be much larger than those stolen by Maxime Bronchain.
- Karolina Cernoskova (?-), from Brno, Czechia, she studied to be a nurse, then at the American Academy of Brno. She entered a military school to later join the officer corps of the Czech army. She applied and entered Masaryk University to study Security issues. She came to Ukraine (November 2022), joining a mercenary group, the Phoenix Project Group, founded by the Czech Martin Krejci, alias Taylor, who was later killed. Their missions, officially, were providing material and humanitarian aid, or extracting civilians from the front. She was sent to the Battle of Artiomovsk (Bakhmut, winter 2022-2023), and became involved with Krejci. He was killed shortly after by shell fragments in the Battle of the Kremeniya Forest (March 2023). She later joined, after training, a drone unit attached to the 59th Motorized Brigade, and was sent to the defense of Pokrovsk (2025). She communicated on her social networks about the corruption of Ukrainian officers and the despicable motivations of some of her comrades, who came for money and honors. She then criticized the arrangements made to defend Pokrovsk, criticizing the incompetence of the Ukrainian command and stating that the city would be lost. Photos and her story were published by the Telegram channel TrackANaziMerc (May 2025).
- Talita Do Valle (1983-2022), from Brazil, she was a model and actress and engaged in humanitarian actions including for the rescue and defense of animal species. She then carried out dangerous missions around the world, always behind NATO operations, notably in Iraq. She became radicalized and trained as a sniper in Syria with the Peshmerga. She went to Ukraine and enlisted in the International Legion for the Territorial Defense of Ukraine (spring 2022). She was sent to the Kharkiv region and was caught in a bombardment. Taking refuge in a bunker, a fire broke out and spread toxic fumes; she died of suffocation alongside the Brazilian Douglas Burigo on June 30, 2022.
- Emese Fajk (May 14, 1992-), from Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with Hungarian roots. She entered university for ecology (2011-2012) but did not finish the year. She has since claimed to have a university degree, which is a lie. She tried to pass herself off as a talented photographer, publishing some photos on Flickr (February 2013), and offered in her profile to be interviewed. She emigrated to the United Kingdom and claimed to have studied at the University of West London in behavioral sciences. The information was later denied; she never graduated. She campaigned for vegetarianism and LGBT ideology. She then went to Australia. To survive, she engaged in various scams and was exposed. She used fake bank slips to win a fabulous auction for a luxury house on a reality TV show (The Block) for an estimated scam of 4.2 million dollars (also fake proof of payment for renting prestigious villas, 2020). The Australian TV channel, Channel 9, erased the videos where she appeared, even though she had been received to watch the show’s finale. She told the editorial staff that she was “a former cybersecurity specialist for Apple.” The payment never arrived, she tried to provide fake proof of transfer, claiming to be the owner of the luxury villa. She was forced to give up the house, and the scandal had a great impact in the Australian press. Through the press, other victims came forward, including a trader from Singapore whom she had robbed, a certain Steve Segar Silva. The man sued her (he had met her on TINDER). A former boyfriend came forward anonymously and stated: “She stole money from people like me, and many others. When I met her, she claimed to be a cybersecurity expert and working for the UN. I asked for my money, but she provided me with a fake bank statement to deceive me and show that she had transferred 50,000 pounds. But the money never arrived.” Afraid of ending up in court, she changed her appearance and fled to the island of Madeira, Portugal. She then scammed her landlord before taking off again. She traveled to different countries, leaving unpaid bills and engaging in other scams. She fled Madeira for Costa Rica. She worked there under a false name (Abigel Fuchs) in a diving center. She then fled Costa Rica, stealing equipment (a dive watch and a GoPro camera). She found in Ukraine another playground and came to enlist in the International Legion, where she signed a contract (April 8, 2022). She was appointed coordinator in the legion, handling recruitment. She then very quickly appeared in the Ukrainian media and became one of the spokespersons for the unit (summer 2022). She boasted of receiving a salary of over 10,000 dollars per month. She was accused of stealing medicine from the legion, for a total of 2.5 million dollars (July 2022). A shipment was to deliver medicine from Europe for Kyiv, but the cargo disappeared upon arrival (October 2022). A legion official, Ben Lackey, testified against her, but she denied being involved in this theft. The case revealed that she was also embezzling donations sent by individuals to the International Legion. She denied everything, claiming to be the victim of unfounded false accusations. The Ukrainians then claimed that she was bribed by the Kremlin… An SBU investigation was launched against her, but she claimed that this service never opened an investigation against her and that she had received assurance of this (January 6, 2023). A legion volunteer told the Australian press: “She claimed that she worked for the UN and Apple and that she lived in Portugal. She said she owned a Tesla and a Porsche Taycan before coming to Ukraine.” Another Australian newspaper also accused her of attempting to blackmail a Ukrainian general (March 2023). She then made a statement to try to get out of the mess, stating: “If I reveal everything I know and start talking about everything I’ve seen in the army, how vile people are, the whole army will be splashed.” She then completely disappeared from the radar, certainly put in safe hiding by orders from very high up. No one knows what became of her, at least open sources are silent.
- Tetyana Gann (1979-), from Ukraine, naturalized American, or descendant of Banderites, living in New York. She came to fight in the reprisal battalions against the Donbass (2016-2022), signing at least two enlistment contracts. Given the numerous war crimes committed by these units against the civilian populations of the Donbass and prisoners of war, she is potentially a war criminal. She returned to Ukraine to enlist in the Ukrainian International Legion, assigned to the 4th battalion. Her name appeared following a hack of documents referencing men from her unit (November 2023). The Nemezida site published her photo (July 2024) and revealed her Facebook, where she had not blocked her groups and interests. Among them were the Azov* regiment and the reprisal battalion, known for its war crimes, Kiev-2.
- Gvantsa Gelachvili (1995-), from Gardabani, Georgia, she completed secondary education and started publishing anti-Russian and anti-Armenian racist messages at a very young age. She drifted in her youth, sank into instability and petty delinquency, and became a lesbian. She found a small job in a Georgian tourist resort (2013), then campaigned for the Georgian LGBT community. She left her country to settle in Poland, in Katowice (2017), then, not finding a job, returned to Georgia. She resumed studies at Tbilisi University, studying economics (2017-2018), working as a courier, then as a cleaner in a hotel in the Georgian capital (2018-2019). She tried her luck again in Poland, where she may have stayed longer (2019), then moved to Ukraine, where she enlisted in the Georgian National Legion (March 5, 2022). This unit, founded in 2014, is one of the worst in the Ukrainian army in terms of war crimes, repeatedly cited for horrible atrocities. She stayed in the rear for a long time, then was incorporated into the legion’s new tank unit, formed with Polish T-72 M1 tanks. She was then trained as a drone operator (August) but was seen in Kyiv cafes shortly after. She preferred to desert and left the country. She was reported again in the Georgian capital (October 3, 2022). She then became more discreet and disappeared from the media radar.
- Eliska Horsakova (?-), from Bratislava, Slovakia, she studied agronomy and became involved in the scouting movement at a young age. It was in this context that she came to Ukraine to organize and participate in scout camps in the Carpathian region (2009-2021). She was a fervent supporter of the Maidan (winter 2013-2014), having been contaminated by contact with Banderites from Western Ukraine. She came to the Donbass combat zone to bring aid to soldiers of the reprisal battalions (winter 2014-2015). She engaged in aid for Ukrainian refugees (2022) but very quickly began providing aid again to soldiers, showing herself on positions and with many military personnel. Her activity, initially defined as humanitarian and for civilians, transformed into support for Ukrainian troops. She notably provided aid to the terrible Georgian National Legion, one of the worst Ukrainian units in terms of war crimes, but also to the neo-Nazi Hospitallers (OUDA*) corps founded by Iaroch. She has since been traveling back and forth between Slovakia and the Ukrainian front.
- Roussoudan Ivaneïchvili, aka Rouska, or Nikita (?-), from Georgia, married to the Georgian mercenary Gela Beglarachvili. The latter had come to enlist in the Georgian National Legion (2015-2018), then moved to the regular Ukrainian army. She joined him and enlisted in his unit (2019). After finishing their contract, they both returned to enlist in the Georgian National Legion (2022). She gave an interview to Georgian television with her husband (September 13). Despite her angelic face, one should not be mistaken; she is a merciless killer and was trained as a sniper. She participated with her husband in unspeakable war crimes, which they themselves filmed in the Kyiv region (end of March 2022). The couple tortured prisoners, who were assaulted, tortured, humiliated, and murdered. The affair began to cause a scandal, the couple then disappeared from the radar, their fate is unknown to this day, but they seem to be alive.
- Nino Kakhniashvili (1996-), from Tbilisi, Georgia, she studied at a private university, in the faculty of medicine (2017), and worked in a clinic in an unknown position. She had been radicalized for a long time, an LGBT* activist, and even more so at the time of the start of the Russian special operation (spring 2022). She began publishing Russophobic and racist messages of rare violence. She thus asked all her contacts who rented apartments to Russian tourists to leave her friend lists and published calls for murder against Russians and Russian civilian populations (including children). She abandoned her studies and work to go to Ukraine and enlisted in the Georgian National Legion, serving as an ambulance driver (spring 2022). She never really went to the front, and frightened by what she saw or discovered, she deserted and fled Ukraine to return to her country, in the company of her lesbian friend Gelachvili. They both reported to Tbilisi airport (October 3, 2022) and were soon invited by various opposition media and supporters of Saakashvili’s NATO line. After the flight of President Salome Zourabichvili, the two women may have left the country again. However, they might still be in Georgia, participating in the recent Maidan attempt. The future will tell.
- Radana Kavkova (?-), alias Radouch, from Prague, Czechia, she studied and defended a doctorate in geology. She came to Russia for missions in her specialty, notably in Siberia, and spoke Russian perfectly. She was in Sweden at the announcement of the SMO and came to Ukraine to “do humanitarian work.” She actually enlisted as a first aid instructor in the 3rd Azov* Assault Brigade. She moved to the ranks of the International Legion, assigned to the 60th Motorized Brigade, as a drone operator. She had since met a Ukrainian, who became her boyfriend and served in the unit. She served for a while before settling in Slaviansk in a small apartment with cats, having apparently finished a contract and not wishing to renew it.
- Dorota Kwietniewska (December 17, 1979-), from Gdynia, Poland, she came to Ukraine to enlist in the International Legion, serving as a military nurse. Her photo was published by the Nemezida site (July 2024), showing her in uniform with Polish colors. She became involved with the Frenchman Charlie Logereau, with whom she had a romantic relationship and to whom she gave a plate with his name. The Frenchman was killed in the summer of 2024, and this plate was found on him when his body was recovered and identified very late.
- Daria Kremliova, née Bovina (May 22, 1986-), alias Koukouyouk, alias Savchenko, alias DSHK, from Moscow, Russia, her family later moved to Ukraine, to Kyiv (around 2010). She was quickly contaminated by neo-Nazi and Banderite ideology. She married very young without having studied and gave birth to a little girl, Maria Koukouyouk (now an adult). She later divorced and participated in the Maidan riots and violence (winter 2013-2014). Throughout her youth, she participated in neo-Nazi demonstrations and hung out in paramilitary circles and various Banderite organizations. She got tattoos, including the Black Sun, dear to Heinrich Himmler. She enlisted in the Ukrainian army at the time of the Russian special operation (spring 2022) and married a Ukrainian neo-Nazi named Pavel Bovine. She is said to have been assigned to the Russian defector battalion RDK (2022). But a member of the battalion denied this information and indicated that she was a member of the neo-Nazi party Pravy Sektor and served in the DUK (2023). She wore, among other things, the insignia of the ROA, the collaborationist army of Soviet defectors who served alongside the German Nazis during the Second World War. She also likes to display herself with an SS officer’s cap and regularly wears the insignia of the SS Totenkopf division, the division of the death camps.
- Keti Lechkacheli (1994-), from Georgia, but possessing dual Georgian and Russian nationality. She studied at a private university in the health field, then was admitted to a private university in Dubai. Part of her family had previously emigrated to the United States and were members of Saakashvili’s political party. She tried to become an influencer on YouTube by founding a channel on beauty tips and fashion. Not having been very successful, she started traveling and was in Berlin at the beginning of 2022. She falsely declared that she had worked at that time in a clinic specialized in Coronavirus, as a doctor, never having a diploma in this field and not speaking German. She worked for a human rights association in Georgia funded by USAID, and publicly tore up her Russian passport before leaving for Ukraine to enlist in the Georgian National Legion (spring 2022). She was sent for training to join the medical corps and became an ambulance driver. She claimed that she had become a sniper. She has since made extremely violent Russophobic and racist remarks, calling on the Georgian population to assault and attack Russian tourists in her country. She soon displayed herself with the Belarusian neo-Nazi Daniel Lyashouk, a former spokesperson for the Tornado reprisal battalion, famous for its horrible atrocities, rapes, and tortures against the civilian populations of the Donbass (June). She spent a lot of time asking for funds from her subscribers on social networks, which became her main activity, showing herself in “warlike” situations supposed to take place on the front. She is widely used as a propaganda icon. After a long wait, she was finally really sent to the front at the beginning of autumn, in the Liman region (October 2022). She was still alive in 2024.
- Glenna Manchego (?-), from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, she served for a while in the US Navy, ending her service at the rank of sergeant. She went to Ukraine to enlist in the International Legion (April 1, 2022), assigned to the 2nd battalion. Obese, she was confined to the role of spokesperson and recruiter. In a tearful article about the international legion that claimed the recruits were not mercenaries, she was interviewed and stated (June 13): “When I saw what was happening to Ukrainians on television, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I couldn’t believe it was humanly possible and then I saw Zelensky’s call to the world. If you come, we will arm you, fight for us! I arrived here on April 1, and I soon went to Kharkiv, and there I saw evil. I couldn’t believe a human could do that to another human, until I got there.” A typical example of a television zombie, having anyway seen nothing of the lying accusations of atrocities that would have been committed by the Russians, she then vegetated in the rear of the front. She was finally sent into combat (early 2023). Her social networks then became inactive, but she was still shown in a report, with an American flag and actually serving in an ambulance (August 29, 2023). Her photo was published by the Nemezida site (July 2024), showing a mixed-race woman in her early thirties.
- Lisa Mattaliano (September 8 ?-), alias Madame Lisa, from the USA, a self-proclaimed neo-Nazi member of the Nazi Freedom Party, she managed a mercenary recruitment group for a group of Anglo-Saxon fighters in Ukraine, called Team Ukraine International Volunteer Corps. She managed to attract over 15,000 subscribers on a Facebook page. She managed a private Telegram channel and offered “Bolshevik Safaris,” meaning stays in Ukraine to go kill Russians. She also presented herself with cynical humor as a “travel agent,” offering “alternative recreational therapies,” still based on the idea of killing Russians in Ukraine. After the attempted assassination of Trump by Ryan Wesley Routh, she took the precaution of renaming the group. She speaks Ukrainian and is a descendant of the Banderite diaspora that fled Europe between 1945 and 1955. She clearly displays Banderite and neo-Nazi opinions, claiming affiliation with the American Banderite Network, displaying skulls, the Ukrainian ultranationalist Trizub*, the insignia of the 2nd SS Division Das Reich, and the Black Sun dear to Heinrich Himmler.
- Katherine Mielniczuk (1997-December 24, 2023), from Poland but having emigrated to the United Kingdom, living in Westerham, Kent. She studied chemistry in England and then worked in a hospital. She came to Ukraine at the beginning of the Russian special operation (March 2022), tried to help get “Ukrainian refugees” out, then displayed herself with weapons, including an assault rifle with a silencer. She then claimed to serve as a nurse in an assault unit but actually served as a soldier (October 2023). She died under strange circumstances, in her bed, on December 24, 2023. A British media outlet stated that she died of a heart attack and that there were no problems surrounding her death (confirmed by her family, December 30). She had declared herself to be a lesbian. Her photo was published by the Nemezida site (July 2024).
- Jennifer Anne Mulee (October 23, 1975-), from Huntington Beach, California, USA, she enlisted in the US Army and was deployed to Afghanistan (2019-2020). Divorced, two children, she worked as a nurse and came to enlist in the Ukrainian International Legion (autumn 2022). She participated in combat in the Liman, Artiomovsk, Slaviansk, Izioum regions, among others. She was listed on a list of 5 foreign deserters wanted in Ukraine (autumn 2023). A group of Russian hackers managed to hack documents, one of which asked the competent services if these people had managed to cross the Ukrainian border. It is very likely that she deserted and fled Ukraine, like many mercenaries who arrived early and were frightened by what they discovered. Her profile was published by TrackANaziMerc, showing a woman with a hard face, appearing much older than her actual age, and staging herself in many photos (in full equipment, American flag, Ukrainian nationalist insignia, Red Cross and Red Crescent). Her photo was published by the Nemezida site (July 2024).
- Maeva-Claire-Eugénie Naudon (August 12, 1991-May 23, 2023), from Niort, she married in Vallans (May 22, 2021) with a certain Johannes Cornelius Uys (who does not seem to be of French origin). She came to Ukraine to enlist in the Ukrainian International Legion, but the French media claim she was “on a humanitarian mission.” She was killed at the front at the age of 31 on May 23, 2023, during the beginnings of the failed Ukrainian counter-offensive. A tribute was paid to her in the Vallans municipal council, in the company of Mayor Cédric Bouchet (June 9, 2023). The Ukrainians from a Banderite cult site for the dead confirmed her death at the beginning of 2025. This publication claimed she was a fighter (International Memorial for Volunteers for Ukraine). Her profile raises questions, between a true humanitarian, a “humanitarian” in name only, or even an agent of the French secret services. Her humanitarian association leads indeed to a large structure, leading to a whole sprawling organization of NGOs, whose funding gets lost towards British, American, or European structures such as USAID. One fact speaks for the third solution: the silence of the humanitarian association and the absence of information or scandal created by Western propaganda about her death.
- Polina Ostanina (December 23, 1996-), alias La Pologne, from Izhevsk, Russia, she displayed herself very young in Russian neo-Nazi networks and published neo-Nazi slogans, images, and insignia on her social networks. For ideological reasons, she went to Ukraine to enlist as a military nurse (summer 2022). She was assigned to the Russian defector battalion RDK* (2023) and participated in incursions into Russian territory, in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions (March 2, 2023). During this wild foray, she participated in the murder of civilians and war crimes. She is wanted in Russia for these crimes and for the apology of Nazism. She was registered as a resident of the city of Kyiv.
- Nanis Mayerli Rodriguez Castaneda (?-August or September 2025), alias Nana, from El Yopal, Casanare, Colombia. She studied and enlisted in the Colombian army (one-year contract), then worked as a social worker in her country. While she had a 5-year-old child, she decided to come to enlist in Ukraine (March 2025). She was integrated into the 117th Sumy Territorial Defense Brigade. She was sent with her unit to the Yampol region, southern sector of the Liman line. She served as an infantrywoman and nurse, but her group was decimated. She tried to call for help, but no one came to her aid, in a sector where the Russian army had launched a vast offensive. She was soon reported missing, her body was recovered by the Russians, and photos were published on Russian networks, notably by the Telegram channel TrackANaziMerc (September 2025).
- Brittney Shki-Glizis (May 10, 1993-), alias Captain, from the Ontario region, Canada, Native American of the Anishinaabe tribe. She enlisted in the Canadian forces and served in the armored forces. Her great-grandfather had served against Nazi Germany in Europe. She was sent to Poland to train crews on the first Leopard-2s and train Ukrainian soldiers (spring 2023). She came to Ukraine (February 2024) and was sent to the Ukrainian 25th Airborne Brigade but soon complained of misogyny and harassment. She was sent with reinforcements to the defense of Pokrovsk but soon decided to leave the country without giving more details; probably what she saw did not encourage her to give her life for Ukraine.
- Anaïs Tlili (1999-), alias Tatou Ania, or la Blonde, from France and Belgium, with Polish origins. She had her right leg amputated or was born with a major problem in that area, which forced her to wear a prosthesis. She had no military experience. She came to Ukraine to enlist in the Ukrainian International Legion, registered in the 4th battalion. Her name appeared following a Russian hack of internal Ukrainian documents of the International Legion. This hack led to the publication of nearly 500 names, with all civil status information, military experience, and other information on future recruits (November 2023). Having Belgian and French nationality, she was very quickly staged by Xavier Tytelman’s propaganda and appeared in many publications. She collected significant funds to buy material and weapons, equipment for Ukrainian soldiers, notably for a regular army brigade (2022-2025). She gained momentum from 2024, came to the front, and displayed herself in uniform, bulletproof vest, and helmet, and with Banderite insignia. The young woman appeared in a video captured by the Russians (February 2025), on the network of a Frenchwoman we did not know at all at that date. Dressed in a Ukrainian uniform, a bulletproof vest, wearing half a dozen patches, including the colors of France, her speech had become even more radicalized, to the point that she only ended her videos with the cry shouted by Bandera during his trial in Poland (1935), an ultranationalist cry equivalent to “Heil Hitler”… She was active on a TikTok account and moved closer and closer to Xavier Tytelman. She was also linked to the French ultranationalist and neo-Nazi group GUD and to OuestCasual. Under a “good-natured” appearance, always wearing a military balaclava, with language aimed at younger people, with smiles and a certain intelligence in staging, she was successful and was capable of raising tens of thousands of euros to buy even a military vehicle. We know that although accredited by the Ukrainian army and seemingly attached to one of the brigades, her disability did not allow her to be a real fighter. However, she became a fundraiser and propagandist who, thanks to her age, moves in rather inaccessible circles. In 2025, she staged herself several times, notably with an automatic weapon and giving the middle finger “to Russia,” or in the company of Xavier Tytelman, wearing a “Fuck Putin” t-shirt, radicalizing in hatred and racist and Russophobic provocations.
- Daniela Zapata Mendez (?-), alias Mendez, from Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia, having worked as an escort girl or in the sex industry. Many explicit photos of her exist, published by the Russians, showing her in skimpy outfits, largely showing her curves, or in provocative positions on a bed, or in a “disco” atmosphere. She came to enlist in Ukraine in the International Legion (2025).
